THIRTY4 respects your privacy. We want to be sure you are well informed and comfortable with how we handle your information. This Privacy Policy explains how THIRTY4 collects, uses, stores, and discloses your personal information, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

This Privacy Policy encompasses the following:

  • The information that THIRTY4 collects from its users;
  • How that information is used by THIRTY4; and
  • The rights and options available to users of the FOUR Platform.

    • Information that is being collected

    THIRTY4 offers mapping, GPS navigation and business based services to users of the FOUR Platform (for more information visit four.io) and/or users of our mobile applications (FOUR IOT, FOUR WORK, FOUR FORMS, FOUR CONTENT, FOUR JOURNEY, FOUR MDM and others collectively referred to as the “services").

    THIRTY4 collects personal information that is necessary for the provision of these services, including but not limited to:

  • Your name, email address and phone number
  • Account details such as usernames and passwords.
  • Information about your use of our services, including usage data and interaction history.
  • Any other personal information you voluntarily provide to us.

    • THIRTY4 may also collect non-personal information such as browser type, device information, and website usage data via cookies.

    If your business uses the FOUR JOURNEY or FOUR IOT application, THIRTY4 will also collect detailed location, vehicle and route information, for example in the form of GPS signals and other information sent by the device on which the application is being used.

    How we collect information

    THIRTY4 will collect personal information through various methods, including:

  • Direct interactions, such as when you create an account, submit a request, or contact us.
  • Automated technologies, such as cookies, GPS and similar tracking technologies when you use the services.
  • Third-party sources, where applicable, such as publicly available information or partners you have engaged with.

    • When you first install an application on a mobile device, THIRTY4 will set up an account associated with that mobile device (the ‘account’). THIRTY4 will collect and use your information, in accordance with this privacy policy, whenever you activate the application on that mobile device.

    The username you choose will be used to identify you when you use the services. Your username will be included along with any information you submit for posting.

    How your information is used

    The express purpose of using THIRTY4’s customer information is to operate the service and enhance it where possible. To provide you with the services, THIRTY4 may:

  • Use your location, route and vehicle information and/or search query history to provide navigation services and to provide information about sites in your close vicinity.
  • Use your device information, including operating system and version, to assist in providing support.
  • Send you or your business updates, notifications and additional information related to the services or information on malfunctions/breakdowns.

    • In order to access certain features of the services:

  • THIRTY4 will link all of your information with your account and a unique identifier.
  • With the exception described in the point below, your account and information associated with your account (including your unique identifier) will be visible only to THIRTY4, your business and yourself.
  • When using the application, your approximate location and other information you contribute will be visible to other associated users.

    • Your unique username and email address collected during the registration process will be used for two purposes: providing access to your user account and keeping you informed of new services, releases and upcoming events.

    Your usage details such as time, frequency, duration and pattern of use, features used and the amount of storage used will be recorded in order to enhance your experience with the THIRTY4 apps and to help us provide you with the best possible service.

    Disclosure of Personal Information

    THIRTY4 may disclose your personal information to:

  • Third-party service providers who assist in delivering our services (e.g., hosting, payment processing).
  • Legal authorities if required by law, court order, or in response to a legal process.
  • Other parties where you have given consent, or it is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety.

    • We will not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes without your consent.

    Security of Your Information

    THIRTY4 takes the security of your personal information seriously and implements appropriate technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect it from unauthorised access, misuse, loss, modification, or disclosure. These measures include, but are not limited to, secure data storage, encryption, access controls, and regular security audits.

    You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any passwords or account details associated with the services, and we encourage you to take precautions to safeguard your personal information.

    If THIRTY4 becomes aware of any data breach that could potentially impact your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with our obligations under the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

    Data Retention

    THIRTY4 retains personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Once your information is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymise it.

    Rights and options available to users of the FOUR platform

    As users of the FOUR platform and other services, you have the right to know what personal data we hold about you. You also have the right to have incomplete, incorrect, unnecessary or outdated personal data deleted or updated. In some cases, especially if you wish us to delete or stop processing your personal data, this may also mean that we may not be able to continue to provide the services to you.

    Changes to this policy

    THIRTY4 will amend this policy from time to time. Please note that any modifications to this policy can be made at any time, and will be implemented immediately. An updated version of the terms of use will always be available for you to review online at https://policies.four.io/privacy. Checking the privacy policy periodically will keep you apprised of any and all modifications made.
